 "EARLY CALIFORNIA:

Prehistoric to The Gold Rush"

We are happy to have you experience this exhibition made especially for the approaching sesquicentennial celebration of the Great State of California. This exhibition is the first of a three part installation. Next year (Sept.,1998) we shall present part 2, and the following year (Sept., 1999) you will see part 3. The sesquicentennial itself will be celebrated in the year 2000! We hope you will attend all of the Museum events scheduled now and into the future.

Each theme presents an overview statement of the materials assembled under that theme.
